Scholarships

Penn Commercial is proud to offer scholarship opportunities every year. If you are a high school senior, or if you have earned your GED, you may be eligible to receive financial aid in the form of a scholarship. Please review the details below and contact us if you would like more information.

FBLA Scholarship

For high school seniors who are members of the Future Business Leaders of America.
Must meet qualifications consisting of FBLA participation and past academic records as established by the FBLA regulations.
Students may apply by completing the FBLA Scholarship application and submitting it to his/her local FBLA sponsor.
Deadline for applications is March 31 of any academic year for an award in the fall class of that year.
The top five entrants as selected by FBLA will be interviewed by a three-member committee from Penn Commercial. Selection will be based on academic record, FBLA participation, and interview success.
There will be a maximum of two “30 percent of tuition” scholarships awarded each quarter.

GED Scholarship

For individuals who possess a GED and enroll in an associate degree program of study at Penn Commercial (but have not yet begun classes).
Apply by completing a scholarship application and submitting it to the Admissions Office at Penn Commercial. Download Application.
The deadline for application is December 15.
Applicants will be interviewed by a committee from Penn Commercial on the student’s educational goals, success potential, commitment, and interview success.
The award will amount to no more than 50 percent of tuition per quarter, per program.

STAR Scholarship

For high school seniors achieving a 95% attendance record or better during their high school education (grades 10-12), and who are enrolled in an associate degree program at Penn Commercial (but have not yet begun classes)

A committee from Penn Commercial will interview applicants. The student’s educational goals, success potential, commitment, and interview success will be evaluated.

Stanley S. Bazant Scholarship

The scholarship is for students entering a technical program of study at Penn Commercial.
The scholarship will amount to 30% of tuition per quarter in the program being offered by the school. The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA and 85% attendance record or the scholarship is forfeited.
The scholarship deadline date is May 1.
A committee from Penn Commercial will interview all applicants. The student’s educational goals, success potential, commitment, financial need, and interview success will be evaluated.

Presidential Scholarship

The scholarship is for students entering an associate degree program of study at Penn Commercial.
The Presidential Scholarship will amount to 50% of tuition per quarter in the program being offered by the school. The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA and 85% attendance record or the scholarship is forfeited.
The scholarship deadline date is May .
A committee from Penn Commercial will interview all applicants. The student’s educational goals, success potential, commitment, financial need, and interview success will be evaluated. Additionally, students’ academic scores or GED score will be reviewed.

Heart to Heart Scholarship

The scholarship is for students entering any medical program of study at Penn Commercial excluding Phlebotomy.
The Heart to Heart Scholarship will amount to 30% of tuition per quarter in the program being offered by the school. The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA and 85% attendance record or the scholarship is forfeited.
The scholarship deadline date is August 15.
A committee from Penn Commercial will interview all applicants. The student’s educational goals, success potential, commitment, financial need, and interview success will be evaluated. Additionally, students’ academic scores or GED score will be reviewed.

Helping Hand Scholarship

The scholarship is for students entering any diploma program of study at Penn Commercial.
The Helping Hand Scholarship will amount to 50% of tuition per quarter in the program being offered by the school. The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA and 85% attendance record or the scholarship is forfeited.
The deadline date for each scholarship is two weeks before the start date of each new quarter.
A committee from Penn Commercial will interview all applicants. The student’s educational goals, success potential, commitment, financial need, and interview success will be evaluated. Additionally, students’ academic scores or GED score will be reviewed.

Cosmetology Program Scholarship

The scholarship is for students entering the cosmetology program of study at Penn Commercial.
The Cosmetology Program Scholarship will amount to 30% of tuition per quarter in the program being offered by the school. The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA and 85% attendance record or the scholarship is forfeited.
The scholarship deadline date is August 15.

Penn Commercial Alumni Scholarship

The scholarship is for students entering any program of study at Penn Commercial excluding Phlebotomy.
The Penn Commercial Alumni scholarship will amount to 50% of tuition per quarter in the program being offered by the school.
The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA and 85% attendance record or the scholarship is forfeited.
The scholarship deadline date is August 15.
