Career Services

The Career Services Department at Penn Commercial provides a wide range of employment-related services to students and alumni at no additional charge. Our number one goal is to teach students how to play an active role in their employment endeavors and ultimately be successful in their chosen field. The following is a list of services available to students and alumni throughout the year.

Externship Program - The Career Services Department assists all students required to complete an externship with securing a site and monitoring their progress.

Part Time Employment - For any student who is interested in working part time while enrolled in classes, the Career Services Department can assist you with finding the right job for you.

Professional Skills Development - We are pleased to announce that our Career Services Department will begin offering workshops for students who would like additional assistance with resume writing, interviewing skills, networking, and other career-related topics.

Individual Counseling - Our Career Services Department is always available to meet with students individually to further discuss career options, concerns, etc.

Job Fairs - Every Spring Penn Commercial houses a job fair where a number of local employers are recruiting for various employment opportunities within their companies. This job fair allows our students and alumni to submit resumes and speak one-on-one with recruiting personnel.

Weekly Career E-Newsletter - As a current student or alumni of Penn Commercial, you can sign up for a weekly e-newsletter created by the Career Services Department. This newsletter contains links to job leads, a list of where resumes were sent for the week, job fair information, and other career-related topics. If you are interested in receiving this e-newsletter, please provide your email address to the Career Services Department.
