penn commercial STAR Scholarship

TERMS

The scholarship is for high school seniors achieving a 95% attendance record or better during their high school education (grades 10-12) and enroll in a Board-approved Associate Degree Program at Penn Commercial.

CONDITIONS

Applicants for the STAR Scholarship at Penn Commercial must meet the following qualifications in order to qualify for the scholarship:

• Submitted application for admissions, academic transcripts, and $25 application fee
• Planning to enroll in a Board-approved associate degree program at Penn Commercial but not yet have begun classes
• Achieved a high school attendance record of 95% or better

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants may apply by completing the scholarship application and submitting payment to the Admissions Office at Penn Commercial.

DEADLINE DATE

The deadline for application is March 31.  The scholarship will be awarded 15 days following the deadline dare.

BASIS FOR SELECTION

Applicants will be interviewed by a committee from Penn Commercial on the student’s educational goals, success potential, commitment, and interview success.

NUMBER

Two (2) Penn Commercial STAR Scholarships will be awarded each year.

MAXIMUM/MINIMUM AWARD

The Penn Commercial STAR Scholarship will amount to 30% of tuition per quarter in the program being offered by the school.  The award will be credited to the winner’s account by the School Director.  The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA or the scholarship is forfeited.

AGGREGATE AWARD VOLUME

The aggregate award volume shall not exceed 30% of tuition per quarter in any program annually.
